The engagement party was a blast!!

We had a blast at our engagement party. We had all our close friends and family there to celebrate our engagement.

Thank you Mom and Dad and Memo's Mom and Dad for helping us out with it!!

TIME TO PARTY!!!

Time has come for our engagement party!!

I feel like it has takin a long time to plan this party!!

I am super excited about it!!

Our engagement party

We started planning our engagement party...I don't know why it is taking so much, but I am excited about how that will come out!!

We have been getting all our little stuff together...like toasting flutes, flowers, ring box, sand ceremony set...etc.


Even if it doesn't come out good...I know I will have all my friends and family there that mean a lot to me...plus I will have MY family there...Me, Memo, Myles and Elisa!!


That's all that counts!!

I am just about to pull my hair out!!

All of this and try to lose weight...how is it done...someone tell me please!!!

Thank goodness I have my Mother to help me!!

It's a wonder why people 1. quite their job to plan their wedding 2. hire a wedding coordinator!!!

Our Family engagement pictures!!

This Weeks Tasks!!

So, I have been putting off engagement pictures for a while now...I really wanted to lose some serious weight.

But, time is ticking away and I want to get announcements out soon!! So...I have scheduled us to take them this weekend...lets just hope we look good!!

We have to meet with the Reverend who will marry us this week too...I can't wait. He is going to be the finishing touches on our special day!!


I will let you all know how the shoot goes...


6-20-2008:

We had our meeting with the Reverend on Wednesday, it went very well! He helped map out what the ceremony will be like. The details that will make our wedding day special, unique and unforgettable. I had to make a list of thing We need to get for the ceremony i.e flowers, sand, vases ect.

I keep on forgetting that I am incharge of this wedding. What I say goes...He was asking me about details and I was saying "It's up to you, whatever you want" But infact, it is my final say about what is going to happen, from the flowers to the wording to how the bridal party will walk in. I have never been in this position, I have to get use to being the one incharge.

This Sunday is our engagement/family picture shoot...I have to make sure all 4 of us have nice cloths and hair cuts!

We took our pictures yesterday. I think they went really well. The photographer was awsome!! We took some family pictures with the kids...they are so cute!!

I will post some pictures as soon as I get them!

Now I have to make some announcements...any Idea's??

I can't believe I am getting married!!!

I always dreamed about my wedding...where will it be...who will I marry...when will it happen...the ring...the dress...the music...everything about that special day!!

My dream came true on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We took a trip to the jewelry store in Redwood city. I looked at a lot of rings, lose diamonds, settings. Then the sales person said "Let me show you this diamond", just by the look in his eye, I knew it was going to be special. Memo brought me over the counter and my eyes blew up, the diamond sparkled and was beautiful. I looked at Memo and said "This is the one!!!"

We got engaged on March 16, 2008

Here is how it happened:

My proposal was a complete surprise!! I didn't think he was going to propose, he always told me that he didn't need to, and it mad me so upset. Little did I know that he was planning it all out for me. Memo proposed after he fought at a smoker in Monterey, Ca. I will NEVER forget it, he took the mic, after the MC announced him the winner, got on his knee and asked me to marry him. I couldn't help but run into the cage and hug him!! He was sweaty, tired and winded but I didn't care, it was perfect and just how I imagined.


I didn't get my ring for about a month or so, but when I did I was still blown away. It was the most beautiful thing in the world and I was so proud to wear it!! At that point, It became real to me, I kept on repeating in my head "I can't believe I am getting married!!!!"
